At the national scale, Wrenbury is a village in north west England, in the County of Cheshire and close to the border with Wales.

At the local scale, it is between Whitchurch (Shropshire) and Nantwich (Cheshire), on the Shropshire Union Canal (Llangollen Branch) and the Crewe - Cardiff railway line.
